The present research is conducted on Job Preference and Satisfaction in Nursing Sector. As we know that today in India nursing profession is giving a huge employment to the young nurses in the healthcare sector. The demand of health professionals is increasing day by day due to large population in our country. To know the preferences of nurses to join nursing profession, a self designed questionnaire was prepared in this context and data was collected from the government hospitals of Himachal Pradesh, where the workforce of nursing personnel is more than one hundred.
