The year 2015 became acquired focus at the Dakar World Education Forum in 2000, when the World set to achieve the six ambitious Education for All targets within fifteen years. Among the targets was the promise that by 2015, ‘‘All children, particularly girls, children in difficult circumstances and those belonging to ethnic minorities, have access to and complete free and compulsory primary education of good quality’’ (Unesco ,2000). 2015 marked the deadline for the achievement of both Education for All (EFA) and the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s).
