What is and isn´t Child Labour? Reflexive Approaches from a Case Study in Northeastern Argentina

The main objective of the article was to achieve a contribution to the current discussions on the delimitation of child labour. From a case study in the northeast of Argentina, the following axes of discussion were developed: 1) the main current perspectives of approaching the subject, 2) the delimitation of the problem by the public administration and community references and 3) the repercussions of the practical application of the delimitation of the problem in prevention actions. The study is part of a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive investigation, carried out in the province of Misiones, during the years 2020-2022. The main results of the study suggest a characterization of child labour linked to the construction of a typology of family at risk and the need to broaden the perspectives of approach for a better understanding of the studied problem
