The article discusses the early stage of the ethnogenesis of Bulgars in Eastern Europe. The author connects them main Hun’s ethno-political association (Akaziri, Hilandurs, Hunugurs etc.) that emerged in Eastern Europe after the death of the leader of the Huns of Attila. Part of coming to the West is the conglomerate of tribes came from the region of the Sayan-Altai, part of the areas of North-West China (the Tarim river) and the Eastern Kazakhstan. Part of the Bulgars had a lot of former Iranian population of the steppes and even Toharian population of the oases of Xinjiang (Tarim region).
