The Integration of Use of Multimedia Technology among Islamic Education Teacher in the Kelantan Islamic Foundation Secondary School

This study aimed to identify the use of multimedia technology among Islamic education teachers in the Kelantan Islamic Foundation secondary school throughout the state of Kelantan. The study involved 127 teachers who taught the subject of Islamic education, Quranic and as-Sunnah education, Islamic Shariah Education, and Tasawwur Islamiah. Generally, this study is a quantitative study and the instrument used is in the form of a set of questionnaires that have been developed and reviewed by a panel of experts. Cronbach's alpha reliability for all sections of the questionnaire was high (>0.9). The data were analyzed descriptively using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25 to obtain frequency, percentage, mean, interpretation, and standard deviation. The findings show that the use of multimedia technology is at a moderate level (M=3.03, SP=. 940). Inference analysis revealed significant differences in the use of multimedia technology based on teaching experience (p= .030, p<.05) and laptop usage intensity (p=.031, p<.05). This study is expected to assist the teachers and the Kelantan Islamic Foundation (YIK) in improving and working towards the provision of teachers who can integrate multimedia technology so that their work as educators can be performed well
