Hydropower generated systems are one of the common sources to generate energy. The renewable energy generation system is designed to use the water flow from an overhead tank during normal consumption of water for domestic use. The system produces electricity from the potential energy of water flow through water pipelines by changing the kinetic energy of water into electricity. The electrical energy is stored in batteries for domestic purposes like lighting and other electrical applications. The system has two turbines coupled with generator, placed at the inlet and outlet pipe of the water tank. The status of water level is detected with the help of float sensor.
