The writer’s attitude to the trend of infantilization and uninformed people about their own fate which is formed in the Soviet Union is presented in the article. Solzhenitsyn says that in the Soviet society in all shears of life the necessary steps were made at people without explaining what it is and what impact they will have for the individual, as demonstrated on the material examined novel Solzhenitsyn «The First Circle» and the novel «Cancer Ward» which are examined by us. The writer insists on that many people take it, giving themselves to the power of system. They are afraid of their own decisions and they don’t want to make decisions themselves. Writer insists on that relationship in a society are built on the basis of mutual respect, which led to the opportunity to consider the opinions and desires of people, transforming it from a dumb screw of the system to the person having the right to decide their own destiny We come to a conclusion that A. I. Solzhenitsyn doesn’t accept permissiveness and infantilization and stands up for the conscious relation of the person to own life
