Social Skills in the Context of Distance Learning

Social competences - related to the pedagogical concept of competence - are an important psychological resource at the scale of the whole educational process, including distance learning. They are: a) necessary for all education actors, teachers, pupils / students, school managers, etc .; b) involved in the management of any pedagogical activity (education, training, curricular design of education and training, etc.). At this level, several models of social intelligence analysis can be used. The social competence of the teacher reflects the theoretical and practical dimension of social consciousness, based on the cultivation of social intelligence. Its curricular design can be made according to the taxonomies that gradually define the noncognitive psychological objectives (affective, motivational, volitional, characteristic). The curricular design of the school lesson and of the university course, realized in the virtual class implies the capitalization in special conditions of the social competence that supports the capacity of the pupil / student of autonomous learning. At this level it is necessary to assemble two complementary processes, of a technological nature (transformation of data into digital information) and pedagogical (essentialization of the didactic message at the level of the optimal correlation between information and training-positive development)
