The purpose of the article is to study the creative work of the modern Ukrainian composer Mykola Lastovetskyi through the prism of the musical infrastructure of Drohobych town. Research methodology. An analytical methodological principle was used in the analysis of specific examples of socio and cultural inspirations and artistic needs of Drohobych residents. Results. It is emphasised that in the town of Drohobych, Lviv region, there is a developed musical infrastructure, which began to form at the end of the 19th century, in accordance with the social, cultural and artistic needs of the inhabitants of the region.
