Study on plastic recycling

Plastics are synthetic or semi-synthetic materials. Their main ingredient is polymers. They are flexible which means they can be easily bent, moulded and pressed into different shapes. There are different types of plastics in which few of them have worst effects on environment comparatively to others. Generally, plastics are not naturally biodegradable or might take ages to breakdown and therefore cannot be easily decomposed. The plastic builds up in the environment and can cause harm. This is one of the main reasons why plastic should be recycled. Plastic recycling means the reprocessing of plastic waste into new and useful products. Recycling of plastic can reduce landfilling and protect environment from pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. All types of plastic cannot be recycled only few of them can be recycled
