Abstract: Background: Endotracheal intubation is routinely practiced in general anesthesia, with potential hemodynamic effects on patients. Several techniques and adjuvants have been tried to improve intubating condition, like potent volatile agents, opioids, lidocaine, B-blockers and MgSO4 or combination of more than one technique.
