Infection control is the discipline concerned with preventing nosocomial or health care associated infections, a practical sub discipline of epidemiology. Implementation of infection control measures is especially important in hospitals because it reduces morbidity and mortality and improves the health statistics of the country. 0bjective: The objective was to assess the infection control measures being followed in the hospital and to compare them with standard infection control measure.
