Abstract: (The effectiveness of using the generative learning model in developing self-regulation skills in social studies for eighth grade female students in Gaza City) The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the generative learning model on developing self-regulation skills for eighth-grade students. The research sample consisted of (35) eighth-grade students. The researcher used the experimental method in this research. The researcher prepared the research tools represented in the self-regulation skills scale. The research reached That there was a growth event among the students of the research group in the skills of self-regulation: realizing self-thinking, good planning, realizing the available resources, and also for the total score of the scale in the post application of the self-regulation skills scale compared to the pre-application of the same scale, and this growth is significant and has statistical significance, This indicates that the generative learning model for the eighth grade students is highly effective in developing their self-regulation skills It has recommended the development of educational curricula at all school levels in light of the generative learning mode
