The effect of various NaCl concentrations on germination ability and morphophysiological indices of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes, which differ in productivity, drought tolerance and heights, has been studied. Wheat seeds were germinated at 0 mM, 150 mM and 200 mM concentrations of NaCl using the roll method. With increasing salt concentration retardation in the growth of shoots and root system was observed in all samples. Salt effects were found to be different in various genotypes. Maximum germination ability was detected in the bread wheat varieties 12nd FAWWON № 97, Daghdash-94 and Gyrmyzygul-1, treated with 200 mM NaCl.
