Pierwsze stwierdzenia skalnika driady Minois dryas (Scopoli, 1763) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) na Równinie Biłgorajskiej, Roztoczu oraz na Równinie Bełskiej, na tle ekspansji zasięgu tego gatunku w południowo-wschodniej Polsce

The first records of Dryad Minois dryas (Scopoli, 1763) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) in the Biłgoraj Plain, the Roztocze and the Bełz Plain against the background of the expansion of the range of this species in south-eastern Poland. The paper presents first observations of a Dryad Minois dryas (Scopoli, 1763) in the Biłgoraj Plain, the Roztocze and the Bełz Plain. In particular, M. dryas in the year 2022 was first shown in one location in the Biłgoraj Plain, in one place in the Western Roztocze and in the Middle Roztocze, in three locations in the Eastern Roztocze, and in two ones in the Bełz Plain. Additionally, during the field work, data on new sites located in eight mesoregions of south-eastern Poland, where the species had already been shown, were also collected. And so, in the Dynów Foothills seven new sites were discovered, in the Lower San Valley and in the Strzyżów Foothills four new sites each, in the Tarnogród Plateau, in the Chyrów Plateau, in the Jasło Foothills, in the Ciężkowice Foothills, in the Western Bieszczady Mountains and in the Sanok-Turka Mountains, one new position each. The newly discovered sites are located about 10 to 50 km to the north, west, north-west or north-east of previously known locations. The new data strongly confirms the range expansion of this thermophilic species in SE Poland
