The hydrolysate of the fully methylated arabinoxylan yields 2,3,5-tri-O- methyl-L-arabinose, 2, 3-di-O-methyl-D-xylose and 2-O-methyl-D-xylose in the molar ratio of 1:14.1:1.1 and a trace of 2. 3, 4-tri-O-methyl-D-xylose.
