Value as a fundamental point of reference in post-modern (contemporary) education

Pedagogical value is nowadays a fundamental landmark in the development and implementation of contemporary postmodern education, studied and deepened by various divisions of educational science. The latter propose a special perspective for the analysis/synthesis of pedagogical value, explained and interpreted in conditions of interdisciplinarity (at educational psychology level), intradisciplinarity, and transdisciplinarity against such backgrounds as the psychology of learning and especially curriculum psychology. The resulting analysis/synthesis model highlights the existing relations between types of values (value-purpose, value-means, value-situation, and value-norm) and the pedagogical reference sphere (educational outcomes; contents and methodology of education; the open context in which education is implemented and developed; laws and principles of education and training)
