This article focuses on the analysis of the admission of new religious and demographic status of the benedictine monastery of San Benito de Sevilla (in the transition from the modern era to contemporary times), through transcription and use of the information contained in demographic report was sent to the benedictine monastery of San Vicente of Oviedo and, at present, is preserved in the Archives of the Monastery of San Pelayo of Oviedo.
