This essay comes at a time of emergency and worldwide diffusion of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing to the debate its relationship with historical and cultural fears present in humanity through the ages. In this sense, the objective of this essay is to discuss a popular culture of zombie obsession in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic through a descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach
