Implementation of Renaicimento's Ideas in the Chamber Instrumental Heritage of Joaquin Turina

The purpose of the article is to give the retransmission of the principles of Renacimiento in the synthesis of individual style with the traditions of the Spanish school of composers based on the studied chamber instrumental heritage of the composer. The research methodology provides the following: historical method is to study the genesis of the genre; the source studies is to handling the existing musicological works on related issues; the analytical and structurally logical method is to learn and pay attention to the chronology of the historical aspect of the problem, mastering the artist’s style specifics; method of theoretical generalization is to summing-up. The scientific novelty is the first in Ukrainian Art Studies there is a thorough study of the stylistic specifics of Joaquin Turina’s chamber and ensemble pieces in the aspect of interrelations with the ideas of the “new renaissance” era in Spain at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. Conclusions. As a result of a comprehensive study of the chamber instrumental of Spanish artists’ works of this period, it was proved that the country’s music, absorbing the traditions of Byzantine church singing, Arabic chants, elements of Gypsy folklore, evolved into an original cultural phenomenon. The end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries became a revolutionary and qualitatively new stage in forming many genres on a specifically Spanish basis. Among the Renacimiento era artists, a special place belongs to J. Turinа, the founder of the chamber instrumental heritage in Andalusian folklore. The music of this region is one of the most colourful, exotic, attractive to the composer, contributed a bright individual expression, became an artistic reflection of life and people’s way of life, directed his style to reveal specific imagery, picturesqueness, landscapes, portraits. In his work, the author enriched and significantly expanded the traditions of ensemble music thanks to a masterful combination of classical European genres, romantic manner of expression, the impressionistic colour of harmonic language, ornamental melody, and rich rhythm
