ASSESSMENT OF INTRODUCTION SUCCESS OF NATIVE PLANTS OF DONBASS FLORA IN THE DONETSK BOTANICAL GARDEN

In the course of our study we assessed the introduction success of 762 native species of Donbass flora in the Donetsk Botanical Garden according to 8-point scale for the period from 1965 to 2021. The best results (92 % of scores above 5 points) have been resorded for the steppe and edge plants of Donbass grown in monoculture. It seems more relevant to grow the species of rare flora fraction in artificial phytocenoses, where stable introduction populations are formed
