The Problem of Waste and Garbage Addressed to Students within the Educational Process

Waste and garbage scattered in the environment, cause pollution of atmospheric air, surface water and groundwater, soil, affecting ecosystems and population health. Maintaining cleanliness is an elementary task for every citizen, and avoiding pollution, including environmental pollution and through an adequate environmental education and through the development of civic awareness. Thus, the role of environmental education for the protection of the environment is obvious and argued, reflecting the formation of the future citizen able to perceive that the life of the next generations depends to a large extent on his options. The material presented in the paper can serve as an applicative didactic support (for teachers, for class leaders, teachers, educators) in organizing and conducting extracurricular activities, including the field trips with students to investigate the environmental situation in the natal horizon
