The research on occupational psychology has described that dimensions of burnout are significant predictor of turnover intentions among employees of services sector. However, the work engagement has negative impact on the turnover intentions. The study intends to investigate whether work engagement play mediating role between emotional exhaustion, cynicism and turnover intentions. The sample for current study was faculty members of higher education institutions in Sindh province of Pakistan. Barron and Kenny (1986) process was applied to test the mediation.
