Continuity of care is continuous midwifery care starting from the mother during pregnancy until the mother experiences premenopause. At this time a woman needs good health services to avoid reproductive diseases so that she can carry out her role as a woman optimally, so as to prevent maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.
