APPLICATION OF EMPIRICAL LAW IN NUCLEAR PHYSICS RESEARCH OUTPUT: AN GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE A SCIENTOEMTIC DIMENTION

The study deals with the Scientometric study on the publication of “Nuclear Physics”. The records are collected from Web of Science Database for the period of 1989-2020. A total of 5292 papers were identified in Web of Science database. The highest publication is 323 in 2020 with 1232 Global Citation Scores. The study found that the total research output of the Nuclear Physics for the study period (1989-2020) published in 693 journals. The study reveals that, most of the researchers preferred to publish their research results in journal. The journal “Nuclear instruments & methods in physics research section A-Accelerators spectrometers detectors and associated equipment” topped with 436 publications with the Global Citation Score of 20712country wise distribution of “Nuclear Physics” covered by the study tops USA has published 1424(26.9%) publications with Global Citation Score 68603.The high frequency keywords are “Nuclear,” which is topped with 1545 publications and first rank of the frequency and the Global Citation Score or 27825. Further this study also identified to analyses relative growth rate, doubling time, Bradford’s Law, Price’s Square Root Law, and Pareto Principle (80X20Rule)
