Synthesis, characterization and crystal structure of a square-planar copper(II) Schiff base complex

The complex has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray crystallography. The molecule adopts a square-planar geometry and displays significant twists from coplanarity of its nitro groups, aromatic rings and methylene groups of the amine segment
