The purpose of the article is to systematise the main modern methods of using reverberation in sound engineering. To achieve the goal, the following methods were used: systematic and analytical, art studies, comparative and historical. The scientific novelty consists in clarifying the classification and systematisation of the main modern methods of using artificial reverberation, as well as mastering the methodological foundations of artificial reverberation in the process of professional training.
