The peculiarities of the meadow-steppe vegetation of the National Dendrological Park Sofiyivka of the NAS of Ukraine have been revealed on the base of comparison with the phytocoenoses of the Middle Pobuzzhia. It was determined that the park’s phytocoenoses actually are not inferior to natural phytocoenoses by degree of the floristic richness and diversity. It was established that recreation pressure is lead to ruderalization of the communities but a hay-mowing – to mesophytization. The syntaxonomic scheme of the meadowsteppe communities of dendrological park and the ruderal communities which are replace them as a result of anthropogenic succession has been developed
