Objective: To find out the occurrences of grand multiparity and to estimate the magnitude of its effect on the mother and the newly born baby in a local health care facility. Design: The design of the study was descriptive. Place and Duration: The study was carried out from February – July 2016 at Mayo Hospital, Lahore (Obstetrics and Gynecology Department), Pakistan.
