Indian banking sector is one of the fastest growing sector in India. Post globalization period private banks and foreign banks entered in this sector and stimulated the competition. Information technology completely changed the picture of Indian banking industry. Private and foreign banks adopted new ways of delivering services to its customers. Electronic transactions are adopted instead of traditional banking. This was the tuff time for Indian public sector banks to maintain their customer base.
