Patients in intensive care units are often at increased risk for oropharyngeal dysphagia following prolonged endotracheal intubation. Although reported incidence can be high, it varies widely. Purpose of this systematic review to find out: the incidence of dysphagia following endotracheal intubation, the association between dysphagia and intubation time. There were fourteen databases were searched with using keywords dysphagia, deglutition disorders, and intubation. Inclusion criteria set for the study is that an adult participants who underwent intubation and clinical assessment for dysphagia.
