Designing Educational Content Using ICT

The impact of the new ICTs in education is manifesting itself through changes of form, content, and teaching environment, as well as a new teacher-student interaction. All of these are factors that exert a crucial influence on the teaching-learning process. With the certainty that information and communication technologies will become tools of universal utility, it is necessary to develop in this respect a new way of thinking and behavior that will enable teachers to cope with any new requirement. The expected result from the implementation of the new ICTs depends very much on the attitude and pedagogical skills of each teacher. If teachers do not focus properly on the pedagogical value of new ICTs, these will remain merely “fashionable” accessories of the school curriculum
