Psychological Burnout Among Faculty Members In The College Of Basic Education

Burnout is a feeling of helplessness, fatigue, and exhaustion due to excessive demands as a result of an individual performing his skills. The current research is limited to the teaching staff of the College of Basic Education / University of Maysan for the academic year 2018-2019. Initially, the researcher prepared an exploratory questionnaire to know the level of psychological burnout among the faculty members in the College of Basic Education. - Research community: The current research community consists of faculty members in the College of Basic Education. - The sample: I used a random sample consisting of (40) female and male faculty members. Search tool: The questionnaire was adopted as a tool to achieve the objectives of the research, and previous studies. The results of the research were statistically treated using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, variance, the calculated T, and the tabular T value. The researcher reached some recommendations and suggestions, including: Paying attention to the faculty members from all sides because their sense of attention and support reduces psychological burnout.Conducting a study on psychological burnout according to the variable of years of service and academic specialization
