Oxyethira peruviana Harris & Davenport, 1999 Oxyethira peruviana Harris & Davenport, 1999 was described from Peru and was only known from the holotype. Two male specimens were collected in Amazonas, the first record of this species from Brazil. Material examined: BRAZIL: Amazonas: Rio Preto da Eva municipality, tributary to Rio Preto da Eva, 02° 38 ’ 14.6 ”S 59 ° 44 ’09.9”W, 23.iv. 2004, J.L. Nessimian, light trap, 1 male (INPA); tributary to Rio Urubu, 02° 17 ’ 41.6 ”S 60 °01’ 16.5 ”W, 24.v. 2004, J.L.
