Diagnosis based on description by Moore (1987). Diagnosis (female). Maxilliped outer plate tuberculate. Mandibular palp article 3 short. Gnathopod 1 propodus and carpus narrow, elongate. Gnathopod 2 with high mediofacial row; carpus short. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Telson with facial setae, apex bidentate. Moore reported the color of L. ctenochasma as pale pink. Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown. Habitat. Among holdfasts of Ecklonia radiata; 3– 4 m. Host. Sponges: Callyspongia Duchassaing & Michelotti, 1864, Holopsamma laminaefavosa, Mycale sp., and Phorbas sp. Distribution.
