Presentation of the hypothesis that some signs and symptoms associated with acute SARS-CoV-2 infection, post acute CoViD-19 sequelae or post vaccination adverse events could be the result of reactivation of different members of the herpes family of viruses. This is explored using historical observed evidence as to the circumstances that herpes viruses have reactivated. Evidence from papers published during the pandemic reporting on observed reactivations as a result of SARS-CoV-2 infection or post vaccination is included. Finally suggestions are made for further investigation, specifically looking for direct evidence of reactivation in SARS-CoV-2 infection, post acute sequelae and vaccination adverse events. Further investigation is require...
