This article describes the socio-political measures taken to stop the national liberation movement in the Surkhandarya region. After the Soviet government established peace in the country, it began to persecute everyone who participated in the national liberation movement. First, they began working with prominent statesmen. It is noteworthy that this case is one of the largest organized political trials against the national intelligentsia of Uzbekistan. The purpose of this was to intimidate the national cadres, force them to submit to Soviet ideology and ruthlessly destroy those who refused.
