This study aims to investigate the impact of gamification techniques on engagement and motivation within digital mental health interventions specifically designed for Nigerians. Gamification involves incorporating game elements, such as rewards, challenges, and interactive features, into non-game contexts to enhance user experiences and motivations. By utilizing simple language that is easy to understand, this research explores how these techniques can be applied in the context of digital mental health interventions for Nigerians. The study seeks to provide insights into how gamification can effectively engage users and motivate them to actively participate in their mental wellness journey
