Business forecasts as a basis for forming the company's financial budget

The subject of the study is business forecasts as a basis for the formation of the enterprise’s financial budget. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of business forecasts as a basis for forming the financial budget of the enterprise. Research methods. The work uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, and the method of summarizing data. Work results. The paper defines the term «budgeting». Defined business forecasts for calculating the enterprise budget. The set of business tasks that determine the directions of the work for підenterprise in the planning period is outlined. Conclusions. In the practice of management, the model of financial planning of the economic growth of the business entity should be used, which is based on a combination of known planning models – the development of the financial part of the business plan with the budgeting process and the preparation of forecast financial documents of the accounting department in combination with planning methods for the realization of financial stability and profitability. The defining link of the model should be the budgeting process as the only method that allows you to determine the movement of the company’s financial flows as fully as possible, which is key to realizing current and especially long–term financial stability
