Kinetics of bromination of substituted acetophenones by phenyltrimethylammonium tribromide

The study shows first order kinetics due to ketones and inverse first order kinetics due to PTT. The thermodynamic parameters are evaluated. The products of bromination of different acetophenones are found to be monobromoacetophenones
