ЗБІРКА «ЛИСТИ З ПАРИЖА. ЛИСТИ З КИТАЮ» СОФІЇ ЯБЛОНСЬКОЇ У ФЕМІНІСТИЧНІЙ СИСТЕМІ КООРДИНАТ

The study analyzes feministic accents in S. Yablonska’s collection of travelogues “Letters from Paris. Letters from China”. It finds out that the author’s essays and novels do not contain radical declarations of feminism, but they can be considered evidences of her interest to this ideology. S. Yablonska’s intellectual search, development of her personal and cultural identity are characterized by evident feministic arrangement. The writer’s travelogues clearly reflect her successive steps in struggling for the idea of gender equality: she managed to combine roles untypical for a woman in the early 20th century, related to a number of challenges and dangers and happy family life. In spite of the fact that in S. Yablonska’s works there are no persuasive manifestations of feministic ideas, she can be referred to the female representatives of this philosophy of the late 19th – early 20th century, whose activity had an impact on the formation and development of feministic movement in Ukraine
