Human resource is an important resource for organization effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of transformational leadership and employee empowerment on job satisfaction. This research was conducted at the General Bureau and the Regional Secretariat of Aceh which had samples of 100 employees. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive effect on job satisfaction and employee empowerment had a positive effect on job satisfaction.
