This research work focus on the socioeconomic factors affecting girls’ child education in Jega metropolis, Kebbi state. Three (3) schools were selected out of fourteen (14) secondary schools using simple random sampling, two hundred and fifty (250) students were draw from the target population using Slovene formula for sample size determination and twenty one teachers (21) teachers were also selected out of twenty eight (28) total population. Questionnaire was used to obtain information. Simple frequency distribution, percentages and mean was used to analyse the data.
