Background: The blood type is known to be associated with the risk of cancer. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between oncological diagnoses and blood groups of inpatients receiving palliative care. Material and methods: This retrospective study was conducted with patients receiving palliative care at our hospital between December 2019 and December 2020. The records of patients receiving comprehensive palliative care during this 1-year period were obtained from the hospital archive, and patients diagnosed with a malignant disease were included in the study.
