Introduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC), by its frequency and severity, represents a serious public health problem worldwide. It is a major cause of death from cancer. The objective of our study is to study the 05-year survival of CRC in the province of Tlemcen. Material and methods: This is a prognostic survival study on CRC cases confirmed histologically and diagnosed for the first time, whatever the stage, between January 1st, 2011 and December 31, 2012 in subjects living in the province of Tlemcen at the moment of diagnosis. The collection of cases was exhaustive from Tlemcen cancer registry. Survival was presented as a Kaplan Meier curve. The Log Rank test allowed comparison between the different groups.
