The article examines the content of the concepts of citizenship of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova, methods of acquiring and terminating citizenship of these states, their differences in legislative regulation, the application of loss of citizenship on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and deprivation of citizenship in the Republic of Moldova. In the article, the author points out the grounds for acquiring citizenship of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova.
