The authors present the amphorae collected in nine campaigns of archaeological work — between 1990 and 1998 — in the Roman uilla of Quinta das Longas (S. Vicente e Ventosa, Elvas). After a brief presentation of the uilla, the stratigraphic contexts of the materials are explained, as well as the different phases of Roman occupation of the site. Available typologies are critically discussed.
