Medieval notarial deeds open up a glimpse of everyday life. In addition to the contracts that we immediately associate with the function of the notary (sales, wills), we can find information on medicine, school, art and architecture but also less common documents such as: the invention of a working mill without the use of any energy sources known until then; slave trades; quarrels, brawls and injuries; promises to stop gambling; wills of those who leave on a journey and are afraid of not returning; news related to politics and wars; municipal concessions; finally, the dialect words found in the deeds of the 15th-16th centuries are examined
