In the early decades of the sixteenth century, a conqueror from Fergana captured and maintained a strong footing in Afghan lands and set his eyes on the fertile plains of India. This research paper will focus on the adventures of the Muhammad Zahiruddin Babur in Central Asia. How the tragedies struck him and gave a blow to his ambition of regaining his ancestral land. How he got engaged in the fierce struggle of power politics in central Asia and how he changed his plans according to the circumstances and need. This paper will try to find out whether the conquest of India and the foundation of Mughal rule in India was a tragedy or a planned attack
