With the current state of the global sheet metal industry, the market demand for mass production of sheet metal parts at cheap price and high quality is a big challenge. The Sheet metal blanking is a commonly used metal fabrication process in automobile, aviation, electrical & electronics, Heavy machineries and other industrial equipment. Burrs are the unwanted piece of material and ragged-edge raised on the surface of the blank after blanking process. The formation of burr on piece of metal decreases its quality, precision and usability of the metallic blank.
